Best battery monitor for rv 20179/6/2023 ![]() Lake Havasu, on the Colorado River, (in Arizona) is 90 feet deep and holds more than six hundred thousand acre-feet. = One hundred sixty-nine pounds-per-square-inch pressure at the bottom. Grand Lake, on the Colorado River, (in Colorado) is 389 feet deep and holds sixty-eight thousand acre-feet. Volume, not pressure measures the ability to sustain work ![]() You need to know the voltage, current, and capacity. ![]() This is a very important measurement but still is not the whole story. The RV battery monitor is the most important part 19 Amperage = Current = Work in processĪmperage is the measurement of current flow, like water in a river - how much current is flowing. Subtract the energy consumed to determine the energy remaining. Current, measured over time, is how to measure how much of the capacity has been used. Bigger battery banks have more volume and thus can sustain current for a longer period. The more volume the longer you can sustain work. The measurement of volume, like water backed up behind a dam, is the starting point. Voltage (pressure) is only one measurement that affects performance. Pressure alone does not do anything, except sit there, until you have current. Higher voltage means more pressure and more potential to create work. The deeper the water, the higher the pressure. Volts are like measuring the depth of the water behind a dam. How Electricity “Works” Volts = Pressure = Potential to create work This is accurate but is only done as a maintenance measurement. The only method that can work, only on flooded lead-acid batteries, is to measure the specific gravity of the electrolyte. The RV battery monitor is the most important part 18 I have tried to live without a battery monitor and tried to use a voltmeter as a substitute this doesn’t work. I even saw pictures of a “professional” solar install last week without fuses. So perhaps I am just dreaming that they would have a monitor.Ī good monitor is more important than another battery and more important than any other item in your electrical system, with the one exception of fuses. ![]() Some RVs don’t even have a manual shutoff switch. Voltmeters don’t tell even half the story. If you are lucky - you will have a voltmeter. Two weeks ago I met a guy that killed eight batteries (two sets) all in one year - all because he didn’t have a battery monitor and never recharged them fully. This should be on every RV from the factory and I don’t know of any RVs that have this critical component. If you install a solar charger without a battery monitor you are guessing at the state of charge. The most important part of an RV solar install isn’t the panels, controller, or battery, it is the battery monitor. If you don’t have a battery monitor then you are guessing. If your RV has a battery it needs a battery monitor. The battery monitor is the missing critical part. ![]()

Cartoon wars 3 gold farming9/6/2023 ![]() ![]() Once you get 4,500 coins or 60 crystals – that’s your common and premium currency respectively – you can use your summons. It’s as simple as using your up and down buttons to properly aim the arrows your tower launches at the enemy. Yes, we did mention keeping the enemy busy in the meantime, while waiting for your big gunner to be ready for deployment. So How Do You Keep The Opponent Busy In The First Tip? Once you’ve sent off a few troops to keep the enemy busy, you can then release your rare character and unleash him/her on the opposition, ending the battle convincingly. Furthermore, it’s a particularly helpful tip if one of your characters requires a whole lot of mana for you to release. This would then allow you to deploy troops faster, consequently giving you more of an edge in battle. More upgrades on that tower mean faster mana buildup, as well as greater capacity. ![]() Next, allow your mana to build up to the point where you can upgrade your mana tower. First thing to do would be to deploy a few troops for defensive purposes. ![]() In battle, you might want to try this out so that you can make the most out of the mana you have. The First, And Simplest Trick For Optimizing Your Mana But how can you make these characters truly powerful, and how can you effectively defend your castle against enemy forces? The answers are right below, in our Cartoon Wars 3 strategy guide. Like you may have done in the past on previous Cartoon Wars titles, you’ll be controlling characters who are comparative stick figures to the well-detailed heroes you may control in other related games. There are also multiple game modes, including a Team Battle mode where you can get your friends involved. The units you add to your army can be boosted by leveling them up or enhancing them, and you can also come up with stronger characters by evolving and combining existing ones. Cartoon Wars 3 is a “strategic” tower defense game where you can build up your own army to destroy enemy towers, and defend your castle with your Arrow Launcher, among other things. Gamevil is back with the third installment in its Cartoon Wars series, which is now available for Android and iOS devices. ![]()

Inmost plot9/6/2023 ![]() ![]() ![]() Yet it’s difficult to really say much more about the gameplay because there’s really not much to it. Sometimes I was even placed in a position that avoided the enemy entirely I’m unsure if that was a glitch or the game being helpful but given that Inmost is more about experiencing its narrative and embracing the constantly depressing tone of the worlds, I wouldn’t be surprised if there was the occasional helping hand. The game isn’t even all that punishing for mistakes, often just resetting the player character back to the point they died with no consequences. It’s very simple, almost to the point where it feels like the game could have been better served as a point-and-click adventure game where it not for the sections that require some light timing to jump over enemies or make a leap between a small gap. Making your way through the three different locations as three vastly different characters, you’ll be forced to solve puzzles that more often than not come down to pulling a thing, running over to collect an item, and then pulling on a lever to open up a pathway back. As a platformer, Inmost is slow and purposeful, if I can use such a word to describe the gameplay. If anything, the padding feels almost incorporated with the core gameplay loop. Still, as a story it’s unique and interesting, paced tightly with very little padding to prolong the experience. Fortunately, Inmost delivers a cathartic and rewarding conclusion that, admittedly, did drag on for what felt like a lengthy fifteen-minute cutscene. While starting out cryptically, I was nervous that Inmost would be one of those games that just makes everything weird for the sake of it without clarifying what any of it means I’ve become tired of games using the excuse of “it means whatever you want it to mean!” to excuse poorly implemented analogies or metaphors. I’m not going into the specifics considering the game relies heavily on dramatic reveals throughout its brief run time that to provide any comntext up front would be a disservice. Mixing elements of fantasy, surrealism and reality, Inmost tells a story that feels not only well adapted to the video game medium but one that wouldn’t be suited for any other form. Which is very much intentional as the game makes it explicitly clear that the experience is about pain and suffering and how those factors warp and change people over time. Be warned though, if you are interested in checking out Inmost, it’s a depressing game, one where there is no light at the end of the tunnel. It’s a game that’s not afraid to tell a wholly original story, targeting themes often unexplored in video games and uses gameplay that might not necessarily be “fun” but is engaging enough to push you through the narrative, which is really the big selling point for the game. A game that launched on mobile last year and was only recently ported to Steam and consoles, Inmost is a game that deserves more credit for what it gets right and I’m really pleased to see it break into a more mainstream market because it deserves to be played by more people. One was The Last of Us Part II and the second one, which caught me completely by surprise, was Inmost. So far, there have been two games that have managed to pull off such a feat. For me, and I’m sure a great many other folks out there, the juice in the emotional fuel tank has been running low for some time now, so if I’m dedicating my time to an experience that I know is going to crush me and pull on the ol’ heartstrings, it better damn well be worth it. ![]() Maybe it’s just a factor of the kind of year that it has been, but I feel like I’ve been playing more “feel good” games than usual lately. ![]()

Portugal port wine9/6/2023 ![]() It was a bold move and gave him great advantage, allowing him to build relationships with the farmers and secure the first pick of their wines. In 1744 Bartholomew Bearsley became the first British wine shipper to buy a property in the Douro. Today the estate near Regua still belongs to the Taylor family which is commemorated in the Taylor’s First Estate Reserve Port. In 1755 the Bearsly family were the first to buy vineyards and make their own wine in the Douro, which gave a great advantage. Though today the process of fortifying Port is totally different – the wine is fortified during fermentation for better alcohol integration, not after ageing.įrom 1750 onwards: the first English owned Port winery is born, Phylloxera & FortificationĪn early English pioneer in the Douro wine trade was Peter Bearsley, son of the founder of Taylor’s, who was said to be the first English wine merchant to make the hazardous trip into the upper Douro in search of the best wines. To protect the wine from the long journey on the sea, sometimes it was fortified with the addition of brandy. The wine was known as ‘Oporto wine’ or ‘Port’ as we know it today. ![]() The solution was to carry the wine down the Douro river to Oporto, the city right by the Atlantic Ocean where it was loaded onto ships travelling to England. These vineyards were located hundreds of miles away from the Viana do Castello, the commercial hub of the English merchants. They found on the upper Douro, amid rocky hills and hot climate, more full bodied and robust wines. The merchants embarked on this large opportunity but travelling inlands on the Douro river in search of better quality wines. By the second half of the 15th century, a large amount of Portuguese wine was shipped to England often in exchange for salt cod, known as ‘bacalhau’.īut it wasn’t until two centuries later, in 1678 precisely, that the first records show this Portuguese wine being referred to as ‘Port’.Īs the English – Portuguese wine trade flourished, the English consumers were growing an appetite for finer wines. In 1386 a treaty was signed between Portugal and England to establish a political and commercial alliance, which boosted this relationship. With that came the sea trade commerce and the favourable position of country on the Atlantic Ocean, meant that it caught the attention of merchants, especially from England. Portugal has been making wine for thousands of years and wine became an important export since 1174, when the Kingdom of Portugal was established. The English / Scottish factor is due to historical commercial ties which resulted in the Port wine as we know it. ![]() ![]() Many iconic brands were founded by Englishmen and Scots, think Taylor’s, Graham’s, Cockburn. Port is an iconic wine with a lot of history made in the Douro Valley Portugal. ![]()
